Century+ Old Indiana DNR Wildlife Restoration Project Sign. My wife inherited a piece of property in Indiana that's been in her family. We were walking our dogs when we spotted this sign. Dangling from a leaning fence post being held up by a strand of rusty barbed wire. In a heavily overgrown & wooded area. Retrieving it was no easy task! It appears that someone took a potshot at this with a small caliber gun. As it left a sizeable dent, but didn't penetrate it. These signs were produced from the late 1800s to the early 1900s.

Before they figured out it was easier to paint them, than to emboss them. Genuine vintage DNR signs like this are extremely scarce & difficult to find!
