" At the lower righthand edge in small font, this sign reads: "The Donaldson Art Sign Co. There is very little information on Rule & Sons, Inc. Aside from some transcripts of decades old lawsuits from Los Angeles court room proceedings. Perhaps you know more about this company and their history? The sign is painted in a bold and striking orange and navy-blue color scheme, which can be seen clearly from a far distance.
The Pacific Finance Building is an important and historic early Los Angeles structure, which was designed by Dodd & Richards in 1925, and sadly demolished in 1971. It once stood at 621 S. The last two photos in this listing depict the building during the 1920's - 1930's. Approximately 23 1/2 x 35 1/4 inches.Good condition for a century of age, with expected creases, mild paint loss and edge wear please see photos. Acquired in Los Angeles County, California.
