Here we have an original old antique WEST - EXE NORTH Tiverton Devon Cast Iron Road Sign. The cast iron sign is of WEST - EXE NORTH which is in Tiverton Devon, the sign with typical victorian edgings very heavy at about 13.5 kilos, the lettering is in high profile and each letter is about 10cm (4") in size, and the sign size is about 71cm x 27cm (28" x 10.5/8) it has a hole at each end where it would have been fixed and still retains one of the original round capped fixing nails (see picture 4 and 5).
