1800's / 1900 turn of the century an "old red paint surface" a mustard color " MURRAY ". Carved initials on the underside of this sled that looks to me to be M V? This is a sturdy old country sled... All original nice old patina - as found; there is an old season wood split in one of the style uprights, a chamfered wooden board was added at the rear underneath back portion of the sled I presume for durability and an old split in one of the long boards. All are minor issues - I just mention them for accuracy.
