This is a sign for the Laher Deluxe automobile trunks. Factory originally in Portland OR, then moved to Oakland Cal. The company went into trunk production around 1925. Before they were one of the biggest auto spring manufactures on the West Coast. Painted 3 plywood made from the same stuff the trunks were.

Probably done at the factory. More info in pics see pics for condition. 39 1/2" X 12" The Butte, Montana political sign painted on the back corresponds to the directory listing. Sign predates his death that dates it fairly accurately.
