Beautiful old Chinese inscribed and signed marble panel

  

For sale is this old Chinese marble panel measuring appx. 7 1/4 x 7 7/8.

Inscription and signature in upper right. Some scattered areas of staining and soiling. Chips to edges around perimeter. There is a line that follows around the edge which is likely from when it would have been in a wood frame, and may have been a table screen at one point. Some rough areas in stone. Abrasion throughout as the material is quite soft. Color of the stone is darker and softer in person compared to the images. A lovely old piece of marble. Please see images for details.
