This is a nice antique landscape oil painting of a woman who is knitting sitting on the stairs of her home with flowers (see photos). The item is antique and it is framed in a newer wooden picture frame. The painting looks to me to be European in origin (see photos). The painting looks like it may be signed by the artist, but it is hard to read and may be my imagination (see photos). The painting is painted on artist canvas and it is on the original wooden stretcher (see photos). The painting is framed in a modern wooden picture frame (see photos). The painting may be European in origin (see photos and decide the age, the origin and the maker). The painting is painted by a talented artist.

The painting framed in total measures about 1 foot 10 and 3/4ths inches high and it is about 1 foot 5 and 1/4th inches wide. The painting portion not including the picture frame measures about 1 foot 7 and 1/4th inches high and it is about 1 foot 1 and 1/2 inches wide. The picture frame has some dents to the wood, some scuffs, some discoloration, some finish losses and some other signs of wear. The painting has obvious crazing and other signs of wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item).
