This is a beautiful and well done early 20th century European Impressionist oil painting on canvas depicting a city scene near a rivers edge. I believe this is the Thames, and that this is a British painter. However, I believe this could also be French or Italian. It is signed but the signature is not very legible.

Approximately 31 1/4 x 26 3/4 inches including frame. Frame has some chipping, and the painting has minor craquelure and paint loss from age. It has been re-lined, probably in the mid 20th century.
