The painting focuses on Llyn y Gadair (Roughly translated as Lake of the Chair) which is a stunning glacial lake in the foothillls of Cadair Idris, under the craggy peak of Cyfrwy. The painting is signed J. We don't know the age of this painting, but we. It to be from the mid to late1800s. The painting is in good condition for its age however there are some holes, which have been repaired.
