Vintage Old Salem, N. C. Slip Glaze 5 Inch Moravian Owl Bottle, Fully Marked

  

In the late 70's and didn't think it was an antique. I tend to agree (if i'm wrong that's a big mistake on my part) It's clearly marked with an "M" for Moravian so it is a piece with excellent history and provenance!! Yet in my years of experience and days of online research I could not find any pieces without ears created during the 19th century (those sell for thousands upon thousands of dollars) yet the piece is rare and beautiful!!
