Signed, c1790 OLD PARIS CUP & SAUCER Perche (FRANCE) (3V3)

  
Stunning, early French porcelain dating to the late 18th Century (circa: 1790). Beautiful antique signed French Porcelain Old Paris Cup & Saucer of generous size and in very fine condition. Signed on the reverses: PERCHE. Rare to find the cup and saucer together and in beautiful condition. Both the antique Cup and Saucer are each richly decorated in gold leaf and colors, which includes Cupids (some with Bow & Arrow), also a Cupid carrying a Bird Cage.

Other decorative designs include various botanical motifs, a small animal (possibly a dog or deer), a Cathedral or Castle and colorful Trellis and Urn. In the center of the Saucer is large gold leaf Diamond motif. As noted, the antique French Cup & Saucer are quite large----the Cup is cylinder shaped and measures 3 1/4" high, with a diameter of 3 1/8". The Saucer is deep and measures 5 7/8" in diameter and 1 1/4" high.
