Fantastic Pennsylvania Highway Shield sign with a great look and textured smaltz like paint still intact. These rarely come up for sale and are very hard to find. The shield signs appeared in the 1930s and by the 50s they were pretty much gone.

Made of heavy steel with heavily embossed painted lettering that pop out at you. Mid to larger size measuring approx 16'' x 16 1/2'' Zoom up and notice all the character this piece has. It has a very charming rustic personality. Route 322 is a 494 mi long, eastwest United States Highway, traversing Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.

The road is a spur of U. Route 22 and one of the original highways from 1926.
