Old antique blue French enamel street sign Joseph Dufour Denelle Saint Quentin
This is from the centre of Saint-Quentin, a city founded by the Romans. Saint-Quentin was all but demolished during WWI and retaken from the Germans after protracted fighting in October 1918. This sign and others listed are likely to have been part of the reconstruction of the city and its surrounds. 1920s, domed, white enamel in relief.
