Very early metal sign advertising the Philadelphia Record which started in 1877 and went up into the 1940's. I believe the paper cost 1 penny in the late 1800's which dates this sign in that time period. Measures 14'' x 10'' The sign says " THE PHILADELPHIA RECORD DAILY 1 CENT SUNDAY 2 CENT IS A NEWSPAPER IN EVERY SENSE " Very rusty and distressed. Zoom up on each photograph and notice the wear.
