Antique Old Persian Modern Impressionist Oil Painting, Signed Farsi 1940s

  
This is a stunningly beautiful Antique Old Persian Modern Impressionist Oil Painting on canvas, approximately dating to the 1940's. This work depicts a caravan of mules, with a mother and child at the forefront, and an old man with a staff herding the animals across an expansive desert. The colors of the sunset sky radiate off of the canvas, changing from deep cerulean and lavender, to a radiating orange and aquamarine. It is certainly a wonderful painting to behold.

This work is signed in Farsi in the lower left corner, but the signature is illegible to me. Additionally, an artist's stamp on the top stretcher bar of the verso reads: Ateleier Bajanlou. I could not find any information on this studio, but perhaps you recognize the artist or their work?

Good condition for age, with light craquelure in some places, and mild scuffing and edge wear from age and storage. Approximately 15 1/2 x 19 1/2 inches. I have a suspicion that this work is by the hand of a known, and possibly famous Persian artist. Acquired from the contents of an abandoned storage locker in Los Angeles, California.
