The antique desk has all the signs of ware. The finish has some areas that have an alligator finish from age and dryness. The desk has a slanted top. The inside of the desk has slates that appear to be part of a crate. This is my opinion since I do not have any history concerning the desk.

One corner of the desk has some missing wood / molding. Any locks that were once on this desk are gone. This beautiful old slanted table top desk measures approximately. 26 1/2" wide x 14 1/2" deep x 8 1/2 tall at the tallest point.
