Vintage, Signed, Whaling Oil Painting on Seaman's Chest. Wooden Chest has vintage dove tail construction. Chest has two old wrought iron handles. Chest has front metal lock plate, measuring 4"long x 2 1/2"tall. Is missing upper lock hasp. Chest has wooden weather proof strips on the inside. Measurements, 36 1/2"long x 17 3/4"wide x 13 1/4tall. Inner measurements 34 1/2"long x 16"wide x 12tall. Chest weighs 27 pounds 4 ounces. Kipp covers the top of the chest. Depicts two whaling ships with whaling row boat with six seaman.
