Acceptable Wear from Use and Age. Old Hickory Chair Company changed its burnt branded marking to Old Hickory Furn Co Martinsville, Ind. Old Hickory Furn Co brand marking was in use from 1921 into the 1930s.

Approx Weight: 5.7 Lbs. The last two letter (ND) of the brands bottom line are only visible (See Last Photo). Also, there are some old splits / breaks in the woven splint seat which are all snug and tight. I just mention the splits for accuracy (see my photos) as they are hardly noticeable at first glance, or offensive.
